Insurance and Cost

I take a limited number of individual clients, but I do not take insurance. You are encouraged to determine if you have out-of-network benefits through your insurance. If this is the case, I am willing to write a receipt of services. You would then submit the receipt and collect reimbursement directly from your insurance company. If you choose to do this, is it your responsibility to contact your insurance company and discuss if these options are available through the plan that you have. You are responsible for payment at or before the time of service.

Pre-screening costs of group therapy for adults

Option 1

  • Complete on line pre-screening package $37.50
  • Schedule free 10-minute phone call
  • 1 hour intake $200
  • 45 minute follow up $150
  • (Total $387.50)

Option 2

If you do not want to invest in any online interactions, you may complete the entire pre-screening process face to face.

  • 3-4 1 hour sessions at $200 each ($600-$800 total).

Pre-screening costs of group therapy for adolescents

  • Cost of group therapy pre-screenings for adolescents ($300 total). Only cash or check is accepted for pre-screenings.
  • Cost of first pre-screening $150
  • Cost of second pre-screening $150

Only cash or check is accepted for pre-screenings. Pre-screening sessions are paid for at or before the time of service. An active credit card will be required to hold your appointment time as there is 24-hour cancellation policy. 

Costs of groups

  • Cost of groups: $265 a month if paid with credit card
  • Cost of groups: $250 a month if paid with cash or check ($15 discount)
  • Cost of groups: $850 for four months ($150 discount)

Costs of individual psychotherapy

  • Individual therapy Back Bay location: $175 per 45-minute session.
  • Individual therapy Stoneham location: $125 per 45-minute session (adults)
  • Individual/ family therapy Stoneham location: $150 per 45-minute session (adolescents) .
  • Individual therapy discount: Clients may negotiate a lower fee per session if they pay for 8 non-refundable sessions in advance with cash or check.
